Broken springs leaving you trapped? We’re here to help

A broken garage door spring can completely stop your day in its tracks.

Overhead Door Company of Boston™️ is here with professional service and expert care. Our technicians can repair your garage door springs any day, anytime you need us.

It’s important to keep in mind that garage door springs can be dangerous for individuals without proper training. Though we admire the spirit to do things yourself, torsion springs can be particularly tricky because of the torsion spring in the door that generates energy by being wound around a shaft. If this spring were to break, the risk of a falling door greatly increases. For this reason, we recommend calling experienced technicians.

If your garage door spring does break, do not use an automatic operator when using your door. Even if only a single spring is damaged, risk of harm to both the door and the people around it is very high.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Technician, Scott, was on time and was quick to determine the issue...Fixed the Overhead opener and replaced one wall switch. Plus we needed 3 new remotes...He had everything on his service truck. One visit and everything, all 3 garage doors, were fully operational!

How do I know what’s wrong with my garage door spring?

When does it need to be replaced or repaired?

If your garage door spring does break, we ask that you don’t use an automatic operator when using your door. Even if only a single spring is damaged, risk of harm to both the door and the people around it is very high.
