 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I called overhead door after experiencing an issue with my garage door for six years since I bought my home. Four or five out of 10 times I tried to close it. It wouldn’t close. I would always try to close out the app, delete it and reinstall and even plug and unplug the actual unit. I tried on several occasions to realign the sensors to no avail. One call to overhead door and they were able to come out almost immediately. Scott was unbelievably helpful and very knowledgeable about the system installed in my garage. In  just a little over an hour, he had swapped out faulty wires, installed new sensors and reset the speed on the door. The operation of the garage door is flawless now and I couldn’t be happier with the result as well as the reasonable price. I highly recommend overhead door.

Called for yearly maintenance and to replace rubber strip at bottom (chipmunks got in our garage and made nest in car engine costing us almost 4k to repair….check yours and call them) as well as change our code and reprogram our cars and key pad.  The tech that came was here previously and is courteous and efficient.  Would recommend Overhead Door to anyone and everyone

Jamie came by and fixed my garage door that was dented and had been stuck from moving freely on the tracks after my wife had backed up into the door. He fixed it seamlessly and was very detail oriented. He made sure the garage doors were working perfectly before leaving. Reasonably priced. Extremely professional in his work! How do I test the reversing mechanism on my garage door opener?

Our expert technicans have a standard test for a garage door’s reversing mechanism. First, you should find even ground and place a 2″ x 4″ board where your door touches upon closing. If your door is working correctly, it should reverse within 2 seconds of hitting the wood after you attempt to close it. If the door doesn’t reverse, please feel free to contact us to have a qualified technician visit your home and diagnose the problem.

How often should I do this?

You should be repeating this process every 3 months.
